    Mobile on-site monitoring instrumentation for desalination plant in Taiwan

    Our Taiwan partners supplied a set of Uf membranes to replace old pretreatment membranes at a desaination plant in Taiwan.

    Using our on-site platform service, with in-put and output TSS, and turbidity, the deslination plant is able to determine quickly which are the rows of membranes that should be changed and minimised the total cost of replacing the uf membranes.

    Traditionally, when membranes are being changed, they are determined by collective output flowrate and the age of the entire row of membranes. With our in-situ monitoring system, the client is able to make more meaningful decision as to which sets of membranes to be changed.

    AOP technology tested with market purchased UV-B LED

    Photocatalytic AOP is our leading water technology at Crystal Clear Environmental.

    There are a few interesting factors that can potentially affect the energy and efficiency of said technology.

    One of the promising prospect is to replace current fluorescence UV lamps with UV LEDs. Crystal Clear is experimenting with high powered UV LEDs, in hope that as UV LED technology advances, we may one day in the near future achieve controlled oxidation with high percentage purity at a intermediate state.
